Descrizione

Le pupille sono orizzontali. La lingua è grande, ovale, con margini interi e può essere sollevata liberamente sul dorso. I denti del palato sono assenti. Ci sono due pieghe cutanee trasversali davanti all'ingresso faringeo. Il posteriore è sempre dentellato, l'anteriore dentellato o liscio. Il timpano è più o meno chiaramente visibile. Le dita sono libere. Le dita dei piedi sono libere o collegate da reti . Tuttavia, questi non intervengono tra i metatarsi del 4° e 5° dito. Le punte delle dita delle mani e dei piedi sono allargate per formare dischi adesivi. Hanno falangi terminali ossee a forma di T o Y. Sono presenti precoracoidi . Le clavicole attaccate al loro bordo anteriore non raggiungono questo con la loro estremità lateralescapola . Tuttavia, in molte specie esiste una connessione cartilaginea tra le due ossa, nelle restanti specie questa connessione è costituita da fasce di collagene . [1] L' omosterno è assente. Lo sterno è una placca cartilaginea a forma di ancora. I processi trasversali della vertebra sacrale sono abbastanza allargati.

Diffusione

È un genere di rane microilidi endemiche delle Filippine meridionali, di Celebes e delle Piccole Isole della Sonda e della Nuova Guinea.
